Denzel acts as Denzel, whichever movie he is in. Not that, that's bad but predictable. I wouldn't say his acting range is that great, he just picks well written characters. But for roles he could play now id love him to try act as a psychotic villain with no remorse

Denzel would be good if DC ever made movies like the comics. DC comics or some of the most dark and sadistic comics ever written. Denzel Washington with his incredible talent would be good at a rated R very serious, gritty, DC comic book movie. Not playing a character who is insane or anything like that but a character who is driven, psychotic but focused and reserved, but exudes power. That would be a character for him to play. Think of his role and man on fire, the first equalizer, training day, and those hard gritty roles that he played. He wouldn’t need to play a character like that. But to tell you the truth, I would never want Denzel to ever play and a superhero movie. He’s not that type of actor in my book. He’s far too talented. I’m not saying Robert Downey Jr.’s not highly talented but they’re two different types of talent. Denzel Washington is a highly emotional character driven actor and Robert Downey Jr. plays a role very well. I think they’re incredible actors but one of them does better at very serious movies in the other one does better at playing a role.
